HB GRANDI – DECISION MADE TO ENTER NEGOTIATIONS ON THE CONSTRUCTION OF WETFISH TRAWLERS
The Board of Directors of HB Grandi hf. has decided to enter negotiations with Turkish ship building company Celiktrans Deniz Ltd. on the construction of three wetfish trawlers based on an offer from the ship builder.
The total contract amount will be close to ISK 6.8 billion (more than EUR 44 million). If negotiations are successful, the first two ships will be delivered in 2016 and the third in 2017.
The ship building company is currently building two pelagic ships for HB Grandi.
