Dobroflot shipping first batch of canned fish to Canada
The Dobroflot Group of companies has expanded the geography of sales of finished products shipping the first batch of canned fish from Primorye to Canada, reports Megafisshnet.com.
According to Dobroflot, as early as in May 2021, the products of the Russian manufacturer will be available in Canadian retail chains.
More than 50,000 cans of saury, pink salmon and mackerel produced onboard the VSEVOLOD SIBIRTSEV factory mothership and the land-based cannery in the village of Yuzhno-Morskoy, Primorsky Krai province, were sent to Vancouver. The buyer was the Canadian company Pacific Way Imports Inc,, acting as Dobroflot’s official distributor in Canada. A new can label has been developed specifically for the North American market to comply with the local rules, all information being duplicated in French and English.
Currently, Dobroflot, together with the Russian Export Center and the Primorsky Krai Business Support Center, is developing a marketing program for 10 new foreign destinations.
By the end of 2021, trial batches of Dobroflot canned seafood will be delivered to the United States, South Korea, Japan, Bulgaria, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia. The group’s canned range is already available in Belarus, the United States, Australia, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Moldova and Cuba.
