APO processing plant to be constructed in Primorye
A fishery cluster will be built in the TAEG “Nadezhdinskaya”. It is planned to create a modern plant for processing pollack and other fish species with a capacity of more than 20 thousand tons of fillets per year, reports www.megafishnet.com with reference to the province's administration.
The Primorye fishing industry cluster will occupy 6.5 hectares. Here non-waste processing of fish with a high degree of automation will be carried out.
The project involves the construction of a number of facilities, including large processing plants.
“This is a factory for the production of frozen semi-finished products with a capacity of 20 thousand tons, a factory for the production of fish feed for aquaculture enterprises and a plant for the production of ingredients for Omega-3 containing food and industrial products”, - Maxim Klyushin, the general director of Primorye Fishery Cluster, said.
Thus, a unique industrial complex will be created, allowing to obtain the maximum value added from aquatic biological resources.
It should be noted that the design work for the cluster construction will begin in 2018, the expected date of the first stage is to be completed by the end of 2019, the second one - by 2021-2022.
We remind that the idea of creating special territories for advanced economic growth in the Far East with special conditions for the organization of non-primary industries, including export-oriented was voiced by Russian President Vladimir Putin during his Address to the Federal Assembly in 2013.
Currently four such territories are operating in Primorye, more than in any other Far Eastern entity, - Nadezhdinskaya, Mikhailovskiy, Bolshoy Kamen and Petrochemical. It is planned that by 2025 the gross added value created on the territory of these four TAEGs will be 105 billion rubles a year.
