Cermaq joins Transparency International in Norway

Cermaq supports Transparency International's global work against corruption and has thus joined the organization's National Chapter in Norway; Transparency International Norge, reports www.megafishnet.com with reference to Cermaq.

Corruption is present in all places, but to us awareness of corruption is seen as especially important as we now are starting operations in Vietnam, says CEO Geir Isaksen.

Transparency International prepares the Corruption Perception Index measuring the perceived levels of corruption in 178 counties. For 2010 this index' results were:

Cermaq practices zero-tolerance for corruption in all parts of its operations, and wants to strengthen its training efforts as well as the development of the company's anti corruption program by cooperating with Transparency International Norge.
