UPDATE OF SALMON HARVEST VOLUMES AFTER THE END OF Q1 2013
Marine Harvest ASA has published update of salmon harvest volumes after the end of first quarter 2013, reports www.megafishnet.com.

In connection with the presentation of the Q4 2012 results, Marine Harvest guided a total harvest volume of 75 thousand tonnes (HOG) for Q1 2013.

(1) The harvest volumes are provided in head on gutted (HOG) equivalents. The figures include salmonid species only.
Additional information
Operational EBIT for the Group was approximately NOK 480 million in Q1 2013 (NOK 276 million in Q1 2012).

The results from Chile were impacted by a low price level and high biological costs. The result in Chile further underlines the requirement for consolidation in the Chilean industry.
Net interest bearing debt (NIBD) by the end of the quarter was approximately NOK 6,300 million. The payment of Morpol shares impacted NIBD by approximately NOK 745 million in the quarter.
Marine Harvest will release its Q1 2013 results on 30 April at 0700 CET.
