On 19 September 2019 Arkhangelsk hosted an opening ceremony of a new fish processing plant built under the government program on investment quotas. According to the program, the plant’s owner Arkhangelsk Experimental Algae Plant JSC will get extra capture quotas to cover for the plant’s need in the raw fish.
Kamchattralflot LLC (resident of the Advanced Special Economic Zone Kamchatka) is pre-commissioning the processing line installed on the premises of its new state-of-the-art fish combine. The plant will be launched in early October 2019 - almost six months ahead of schedule.
